Optional Logitech G15 Keyboard Setup - All credit goes to Drox for his work.

If you have a Logitech G15 keyboard, may may want to use the game profile
I've included for Vanguard. This profile sets up the G keys to match those
assigned to the optional G15 hotbar. To use the profile, you will need to open
your Keyboard Profiler and choose Profile->Import and select the
Vanguard.lgp file found in the Yandar\G15 folder.

Good stuff..but..

For some reason, your interface will not display the deconstruction pop up window. When I kick back to the old default it will...ideas? Thanks!

You have to go into the index.xml file, open it with notepad.

Find

" <!-- <Window filename="VGUIEncounterDisplay.xml"/> -->"

and remove the <!-- and -->" around it so it says
" <Window filename="VGUIEncounterDisplay.xml"/>"

Then find <Window filename="EncounterDisplay.xml"/> and delete that line, save the index file and you got your default target window

Hello and thank you for the great UI.

One question however:
How can i revert certain windows back to default ones ?

For example i really prefer the default target window to the one used in the package.

Hi Yandar,

i'm a friend of Adurin from www.lost-company.com.
I'm playing with your UI some weeks and during this i had some ideas.

1. Crafting UI
With these i mean the part VGUICrafting.xml, the "CraftingprocessUI". I think there is the default UI atm better than yours, because they added something. In the default UI you see % of the quality grad and % oft the process like in your UI. And under the action button you have a little green progress bar which shows you the progress of the action it self. I can send you a screenshot about this. Adurin have seen it. Because now we have a new forum for LC i cant upload images like at the old one.
Imo for this it would be a idea to change the index.xml to the default path. Except for you are willing to add additonaly to default UI a littel %-display for the action bar.

2. cost display for hotbar
These 4 word say it all. If its possible, to display on the hotbar buttons in a little line the energy/endurance/etc.-costs of a spell/abilility.

3. CTD because of UI-"End of Tag"
In the last days i had some CTDs and 2-3 of these becaus of your UI.
Following is from my VGClient.log:
[06/10/07 03:16:32] ERROR: XML Fatal Error: ..\VGUIAssets\Shells\Yandar\Windows\VGUIMainBar.xm l [170:3] - Expected end of tag 'XML'
[06/10/07 03:16:36] ERROR: XML Fatal Error: ..\VGUIAssets\Shells\Yandar\Windows\HorizontalBuff s.xml [91:12] - Expected end of tag 'VGUIWindow'
[06/10/07 03:16:36] ERROR: XML Fatal Error: ..\VGUIAssets\Shells\Yandar\Windows\HealerHotbar.x ml [462:20] - Expected end of tag 'VGUIWindow'
[06/10/07 03:16:39] ERROR: XML Fatal Error: ..\VGUIAssets\Shells\Yandar\Windows\Riftway.xml [169:4] - Expected end of tag 'VGUIWindow'

Everytime a "End of tag". After these crashes, i installed your UI new like its been told in the readme. And after these its working.
And in the last days i dont had a CTD. Maybe it was in combination with the new patch.

THE END

Good luck at your excams tomorrow

Greeting
Simn

This is a known issue and relative easy to fix.
Enable the Vanguard default UI and move this hobat in the center of the screen. Enable Yandar's UI again and now you should see the missing hotbar.
Dont ask me why but it works .

Nice

I'm currently trying out your interface and I really like your top bar. Have you considered some type of HUD setup for this. I find myself having a hard time keeping track of my own life and keeping pace with the targets current situation. With a little different of a layout and a HUD this would be the perfect setup for wha I'm looking for. I did try moving the player status and targets down to the bottom of the screen together but it just didnt look right to me. Well thanks for the effort so far.
