Whats new in 2.6.13
- Added the new Short Duration Buffs window to all versions of the player buff windows.
Whats new in 2.6.12
- Added the new reference to the new VGUIBuildingNPCs.xml file in the index.xml file.
- Change the adventure exp percentage variable to use the same varaible added in the default UI. This now displays to the 100th place (I.E. 90.22%). This is only for the adventure exp, this new variable has not been enabled for the diplo and crafting percentage as of this time.
- Added a new Info Bar display option for the Adventure Lvl Exp that displays the current lvl exp / exp TNL as added to the default UI.
Whats new in 2.6.11
- Fixed a bug where the HP bar of the mob in the offensive target window would dissapear if you were locked of engaging the mob. It now shows gold if you are locked out of engaging.
- Updated the guild interface with the latest fixes from Sony.
- Updated bug where the version number in the ingame control panel didnt match the actual version.
- Changed the Offensive Target HP % to use the same variable as the new option in the default UI. This should fix the reports of the mob HP % lagging behind the actual % at times. This does reintroduce the bug where the same mob's HP % is different between the Offensive Target and Encounter window showing all the mobs currently engaged. This is because the variable used to track the HP of the mob in the Offensive Target and the variable used to track the HP of all the engaged mobs are different variables and the one in the encounter window lags behind sometimes. The most accurate representation of the mobs HP and % is in the single target offensive window. Currently there is no way to use the variable from the offensive target in the encounter window as it only know the info for the current target and not all targets.
Those updating will need to copy the textures folder along with the usual update of the windows folder.
Whats new in 2.6.10
- Updated the guild management window with the changes added with this patch.
Whats new in 2.6.9
- Added the code for the new AA window. (It is not enabled on live yet)
- Added the charge bar. (I do not have a Sorcerer to test)
Whats new in 2.6.8
- Drox config window now give you the option to have either the scrolling text buff / debuff windows or the non scrolling version for each buff / debuff window.
( This is because of the design of the scrolling window does not allow you to click on anything behind the scrolling window)
- Compressed the Mark.tga file in the Textures folder to reduce its memory footprint. (Those updating from a previous version will need to update the Textures folder as well.)
- Added a new hot button that will toggle the minimap on and off. This button can be turned on and off in the Drox control pannel.
Whats new in 2.6.7
- updated for the new 75 slot bank.
- made the text buffs, debuffs, and the target debuffs windows scrollable.
Whats new in 2.6.6
- Updated for the new 50 slot inventory.
- Fixed bug where the hp% in the offensive window was not matching the hp% in the encounter window.
Whats new in 2.6.5.1
- Fixed bugs with the enhancement window opening twice.
- Fixed bug with both the small harvest bag and small tacklebox not being moveable in layout mode.
Whats new in 2.6.5
- Updated the book quest window to include the new fishing abilities tab.
- Added the mark mob/player window created by Soresha.
- Added additional changes by sony.
- Added a large and small tacklebox hotbar button.
- Changed the index.xml to include both the default size and the small size of the inventory/bank windows.
Note: The small version of the inventory/bank windows are the default but to swap to the large version just move the 5 Drox_Large<container>.xml lines in the index.xml from the not loaded section to the loaded section and move the Drox_Small<container>.xml from the loaded section to the not loaded section.
Note: You will need to update both your textures and windows folder to get all the new features if you update by copying just the new files.
Whats new in 2.6.4
- Updated the Riftway map window with the changes made by sony.
Whats new in 2.6.3.1
- Fixed bug that was causing the default minimap to not display correctly.
Note: If you are using infomap you were not affected by this bug and will not need the update. If you are not useing Infomap or other map mods then you will need this update to fix your minimap.
Whats new in 2.6.3
- Fixed bug with the no book version of the Index.xml file (thanks to TheCoder for finding it first)
- Added the drag n drop searchable market window based off the code from dkrice80
- Added the small versions of the inventory bags based off the code from dkrice80
Whats new in 2.6.2
- Fixed bug with the display of the List Details button in the quest book window
- Added 2 additional slots and buttons for the UI Loader (you now have 6 slots to save your UI layouts)
- Fixed a bug with compass display where there was always a white dot in the center of the compass
- Added a button for the harvest bag (both large and small versions) to go along with other container buttons. This button is independent from the other container buttons and the display is toggleable in the Drox settings window.
- Removed the weight display option due to weight being removed from the game.
- Various minor tweaks to bring the interface inline with the changes in GU6
NOTE: If you are updateing you will need to update your textures folder as well as your windows folder to get all the new features and fixes.
Whats new in 2.6.1
- Removed all uses of the /showwindow, /hidewindow, /togglewindow commands that are being removed in GU6
- Fixed a bug where _player_status_start_menu was being shown at the top of the character right click menu in a group
- Return of the Book version of the Drox Quest window
Note: If you update to a newer version by just copying the changed files over you will need to get the changed BookParts.xml and .tga files from the textures folder as well for this update to get the Book version of the Quest window to work again.
Whats new in 2.6
- Added support for the new petiton window
- removed the book version of the quest window ( I will try to bring it back in the future but unable to get it to work at this time with all the changes to the quest window by sony)
- Minor codeing changes to reflect minor changes by sony
- Added alternate user.ini files for alternate keybindings to use the reactions, rescues, and other ones added in GU5

Re: Local Drox files
The problem is the tool bar content is stored on the server and not on the local machine. The only way to prevent this problem is to have drox installed on both machines.
Craeat
Hi, just returned to VG and Drox after a few year hiatus!
Here's my issue. I'm going to be playing VG on two different boxes in two different locations, but when I logged onto 2nd box that has no Drox just standard VG UI, it emptied all my Drox toolbars when I logged into 1st box!!
Anyone know which file(s) contain the data about which abilities/items/etc are stored in which toolbar slot? So I can make backups that I can replace whenever I need to.
Might be a good idea to have a backup as well for other reasons as I'm sure we all know what a pain it is to populate them again!
Although created perfect opportunity to upgrade to 2.6.13
Thanks!

Re: Drox UI - moving with my mouse
Try reinstalling the user.ini file in your bin folder with the one from the drox folder.
Hi,
I am new to Vanguard
I just installed Drox UI, but doing so lost the ability to move with my mouse (pressing both left and right at same time). I can only move with WASD and the directional arrow now.
How can I rebind the mouse movement?
Thanks for your answer

APW crashes and a lost UI
While chunking into APW during a raid last night Vanguard crashed to the character select screen and when I logged back into VG the entire Drox UI was missing except for the chat boxes I had set up. Tried numerous things to restore the UI, even going so far as to dump the VGclient.ini, dll and Vanguard.exe files and letting the game rebuild them all to no avail. I am currently using the newest release 2.6.9 of the Drox UI and I really have no idea what could be the culprit causing this, just figured a heads up was in order that something very buggy had occurred.

Small Diplo Cards
Is there any chance the Small Diplo Cards that can be found in Infomap (as well as others) can be included with DroxUI? I've tried to follow the instructions and modify the XML files myself to disastrous results.
I absolutely love the UI by the way, I've tried many others but they don't seem to work as well.

This is because the text down lists of buffs and debuffs were changed so they can scroll instead of running off the screen, Im still working on a few tweeks for these and will look into seeing if i can make them able to click through along with other tweeks asked for with them. Overall I have heard that people like that the list is now scrollable but they want some changes to them. Craeat

With the latest update, the buff window and mob debuff window have "changed" somehow. They are now sizable windows... which is kind of nice. Umm but you can't click through them, rendering large portions of the the play screen unusable w/ this release.
the older version of drox that I was using had them as small, dark grey, "boxes" but you couldn't limit the amount of information (the data would continue off screen if there was too much). At least you could click through those areas, as only the top, dark grey part was counted for being the "window". (by small dark grey box, I am speaking about layout mode. Now they are larger, light grey, boxes with Drox "blah blah blah" window written in them.

yah i have discovered that for some reason the client thinks the window has been loaded before and is getting the with as 0 from somewhere I have no found a good wa to fix this other than editing the UI loader file as noted below or editing the VGSettings.xml file in the bin folder with the same thing. The VGSettings.xml file it written everytime you leave the game so the client knows the last state of all windows. I am looking for a way to try to automate weird fixes like this in the future.

Buff Windows
Quote:
Same problem here. Loading of old saved profiles does not help. Do you have an idea how to solve this?
BTW: great job anyway!
Regards, Fearus
P.S.: Seem the width for these two windows has gone to 0.

Here is what I did to fix it. May be an easier way, but this worked.
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vanguard\bin (or C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard\bin) and load one of the saved profiles into a text editor. For example UILoader1.
2. Next search for "Drox Buffs Text", and/or "Drox Debuffs Text". For me it happened to both windows.
3. Where it says the width and height is 0, I changed the values to
width="240" height="200"
4. Make sure visible is set to True.
5. If the x or y value is something that is not in a viewable area, then change those values too. To be safe I would change them to x="100" and y="100".
6. Save the file, and go back into Vanguard.
7. Now when you go in you should see the windows, go in layout mode move them where you want and save it.
A lot of drama but it worked.

I still cannot locate mine. is there a way to make them come into view? I have tried my other ones with no luck for my Target buffs / debuffs. Would be nice to have an option to "reset" to start over.
