ahh thanks but the only reason i said that was that after i added the rem to the end of the remmed out line did i get anything that looked like a ui.

i will make the change noted and reply.

wrong, you just needed to delete the single line i mentioned, not before and after the statement!

Your index.xml is now missing one closing of a <GameplayWindows > section, see below (add the text in red):

cont'd -

what happens now is that when i click the droxui settings button, nothing comes up. that goes for social window and several others as well.

so we're getting closer now. i get more than just the chat window but things are still borked.

The bug is in you index.xml-file:

The client thinks you copied the Maddy_xxxxxx.xml into the Map-Directory in your DroxUI-Folder. Look into yout Index.xml and find the Maddy entires. Specify the correct directory behind "GameplayWindow directory=". If you copied all files into the Subfolder "Windows", the entries should read:

Hey. I just got a new 64bit computer with Vista. Im using Drox 2.6.1 and im now trying to install maddy on top of it, but having trouble. In my VGClient log i get this:

Hello all, I'm back from vacation and ready to answer your questions.

During the craft-process use the little "Skill"-button to open up the skill window (see one of the attached pictures). The blue numbers show your actual skills, the number behind the slash includes all modifiers, the one before the slash without any modifier. Once activated you can leave that window open if you wish. Its meant to have a short link to your stats during crafting to change your +/- settings on the fly.

To my knowledge its not possible to connect thes buttons to direct keystrokes but I am not familiar with that mechanism. So if anyone around knows how to connect these buttons directly, please feel free to share.

To any of you, that have problems including Maddy-Craft in your UI I have a suggestion: Please zip the whole desired UI-folder, send it to me via pm or e-mail and I will do my best to make the changes needed to activate Maddy-Craft correctly.

Great UI thanks for taking the time to keep it updated and moving forward.

One question about it though, is it possible to add keystrokes to the 1-6 and F buttons inside the crafting gui? Is that something thats possible to add in ourselves? I have gone through the thread and don't see a similar question, sorry if I overlooked it.

I use Darker UI instead of Core, so I might not get all the corrections, but I can see some. I have highlighted them in red.

Mainly it was 2 things, using xml instead of windows for the maddy craft directory. Then later on, an unmatched comment tag mixed up what should be commented out. Hope this helps.

crafting stats?

I downloaded your UI based on comments in vanguardcrafters, and it has installed fine with my Darker 2.0 UI, and I like it.

But one reason I wanted to use it was that a poster on crafting attributes said that with your UI, you could see what your real attributes were without taking off all your crafting clothes. That sounded like a huge improvement! Can you please instruct me how I do that?
