What are we gogin to get to play with???

I have been trolling through a lot of the VG sites that have started to pop up here and there. I try and bone up on any info regarding how the UI will work, how it will look, form/function. But with all my wanderings I still have a lot of question to have answered or blanks to fill in.

First things first, this may be a stupid question but none the lease… is the UI in Vanguard going to be XML just like EQ? I my self have only worked with EQ1 UI’s so I have no idea what WoW or EQ2 is like.

What all will we have in the way of windows? From what I have seen so far it’s your normal player, Group, spell book, etc., is there any new perks VG will have? This may be an odd question but to be clear, EQ just came out with 4 hot key windows. That is a great perk that gives you the ability to effectively ditch a lot of unneeded odd shaped windows in favor of nice uniform bars with all the commands you would need on your HUD. You could dump all your pet commands, spells, disc into your 4 hot keypads and keep your UI open and uniform. For an OCD freak like me, that’s a big deal.

I have become a UI nut because of EQ Interface and I have been working on a class based patcher screen theme for EQ as of late. So my next question is, what other UI’s outside of VG will we get to play with? Will that have a patcher screen, login screen, other?

That’s all I can think of at the moment. But nonetheless, anyone got any juicy morsels on this top they can talk about or link?
